Hi šŸ‘‹ ,
Iā€™m Mari, nice to meet you!

Why?

I studied Industrial Design to feed my curiosity. It was like starting to read a book or watch a series that interests you more and more, questions arise and in the development you find the answers.

In the world of UX design, it's no different, the questions are always there, and it's my job to answer them.

In my portfolio you can see a bit of all the different work of a UX designer, from UX research, to prototyping and usability testing. For more innovative businesses I can also integrate strategic design

If you are also passionate about design or want to know more about me and my design process, get in touch, let us have an ice cream together.

šŸ‘‰ Here you can find my curriculum vitae CV

More about me ā€¦

Colors

I am a person who dress a lot in black, but I like accents of color.

Sustainability

I'm one of the first millennials to be very interested in the environment. That's why working at pirwi, sustainable furniture, meant a lot to me. If you are also interested in sustainable design or sustainable lifestyle, let us talk, I've always enjoyed learning about it.

Music

I like music a lot and from different genres. What I listen to most now is Jazz Rap and Toro y Moi. What are you listening to now?

Art and Design

Because of the covid situation my only contacts with design and art have been street art and the lives of Design Emergency and Dutch Design Week. It has been very interesting to experience the new channels of design and the surprises of street art. How has it been for you?

Books

I made a promise to myself to read at least one book a year about women, I've already read two this year.

If you are interested in storytelling and I recommend Outliers by Malcom Gladwell, I think it will not be out of date.

One of my professors recommended Design is storytelling by Ellen Lupton, he wasn't wrong, it was a great surprise, thanks Emiliano!

My master's literature list has been long and very interesting. If you are interested in knowing more, let me know.

One of my favorite authors in the UX world is Jon Kolko, what's yours? What are you reading now?
